Beachhouse C-VT

  Een hedendaags gezin met volwassen kinderen zocht een pied-à-terre aan de Belgische kust, een plaats waar familie en vrienden kunnen ontspannen en aan de drukte kunnen ontsnappen.  

De architectuur van de woning is geïnspireerd op landhuizen in de Franse kustplaatsen Deauville en Trouville in Normandië. Ook deze huizen werden er gebouwd als ‘beach houses’ voor de inwoners van het binnenland.  

Het interieur versterkt de architectuur met een warme minimale toets.

  A contemporary family with grown up children was looking for a pied-à-terre on the Belgian coast, a place where family and friends can relax and escape the crowds.  

The architecture of the house is inspired by the country houses in the French coastal towns of Deauville and Trouville in Normandy. These houses were also built as "beach houses" for the inhabitants of the inland.  

The interior reinforces the architecture with a warm minimal touch.

Voor het interieur werd er gekozen voor een stijlvolle, hedendaagse sfeer die jonger oogt dan de buitenkant van de woning.  

Door variaties te brengen in de kleuren en afwerkingsvormen definiëren deze in de verschillende ruimtes een aparte beleving zonder de globale harmonie van de woning te doorbreken.  Fotografie Hendrik Biegs

For the interior, a stylish, contemporary atmosphere was chosen that looks younger than the exterior of the home.
