Farmstead D

  Dicht bij de Franse grens ligt de authentieke hoeve ‘Nazareth’. De bestaande woning waar ooit oorlogswezen werden opgevangen, werd met de grond gelijk gemaakt om met alle moderne comfort opnieuw op te bouwen. De vormentaal van het nieuwe gebouw is naar analogie met de zusterhoeve ‘Betlehem’.  

De woning vormt een harmonieus geheel met de rest van de hoeve en het landschap. Ramen zorgen voor mooie zichten op de beide assen, zowel in de breedte als in de lengte.  

Aan de kant van het binnenplein zorgt een grote glasconstructie voor het nodige licht. Het eenvoudig perkje op de binnenplaats verwijst naar de plek waar ooit de mestvaalt was.

   The authentic farmhouse "Nazareth" is located near to the French border . The existing home where war orphans were once taken care of was demolished to rebuilt a new farmhouse with all modern comfort. The design language of the new building is analogous to the sister farm "Bethlehem".  

The house forms a harmonious unity with the rest of the farm and the landscape. Windows provide beautiful views of both axes, both in width and in length.  

A large glass structure provides the necessary light on the side of the courtyard. The simple garden in the courtyard refers to the place where once the manure trap was.
