Restoration '1777' Bruges
We schrijven 1777, Brugge is in volle expansie.

Writing 1777, Bruges is in full expansion. The rich patrician family "Arents - Van der Plancke" buys a domain in Bruges to settle and trade. They built a large Classicist mansion for them and their staff.
With respect for the originally monument, the entire house was restored to its original condition.
A new orangery was added as a garden room.
The soul of the house was restored by restoring old murals on gold leather wallpaper and the family portraits. Characteristic of this mansion are the dark oak spiral staircase in empire style and the bright spaces. Typical for classicism are the high ceilings, so the light falls deep into the house.
